Why Choose Equinox Therapy?
Equinox Therapy offers expert EMDR, compassionate talk therapy,
and inspiring music therapy — tailored to your personal journey.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a powerful, evidence-based therapy designed to help people heal from trauma and emotional distress.
EMDR helps the brain process traumatic memories or deeply rooted negative beliefs, allowing you to move beyond experiences that may be holding you back.
EMDR doesn't rely on extensive talking but instead empowers your natural ability to recover, facilitating emotional resilience, reduced anxiety, and greater psychological well-being in a compassionate, supportive therapeutic environment.
Talk Therapy
We believe therapy works best through collaboration, compassion, and respect for each client's unique experiences.
Taking a person-centered approach, we tailor therapy specifically to your needs, drawing from various methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and psychodynamic techniques.
By thoughtfully integrating different approaches, we help you build resilience, manage life's challenges, and move toward emotional balance, deeper self-awareness, and lasting personal growth.
Music Therapy
Music therapy is a creative and evidence-based therapeutic approach that uses music to support emotional, psychological, and social well-being.
In sessions tailored specifically to your needs, we guide you through activities such as listening, playing instruments, songwriting, or creative expression.
Music therapy can help you explore feelings, reduce stress, manage anxiety, and strengthen emotional resilience — all within a supportive, nurturing environment that honors your individual experiences and personal growth goals.
Individual therapy sessions are billed at $200 per 50-minute session.
